Material Notes: Optical grade crystal with no small inclusions, cleavage planes, clouds and mist, point defects or bubbles inside the crystal. A proprietary process is used for cutting, grinding and polishing quality optical surfaces, producing high quality finished components that enable polarizers to be used with very high peak power lasers. Typical products are: rhombohedral shapes, rectangles and rounds, shaped plates, wedges, and cubes. Birefingent. Low susceptibility to moisture. Transparent 350 nm to 2300 nm.
