Material Notes: Vinnolit® S 3157/11 Suspension copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate for thermoplastic processing. Vinnolit® S 3157/11 is a free-flowing powder produced by suspension copolymerization of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate. The product contains about 11 percent vinyl acetate. It is a specialty resin for manufacturing of high-quality rigid film. Vinnolit® S 3157/11 is mainly used as blend component or main component in rigid PVC formulations. Blends containing Vinnolit® S 3157/11 are used to produce high quality extruded or calendared rigid film. Depending on the addition level, Vinnolit® S 3157/11 improves the thermoforming properties as well as the welding behavior.
