Solder Replacement
RoHS Compliant Adhesives for Solder Replacement
Master Bond offers RoHS compliant, electrically conductive systems to replace lead soldering. These epoxy and silicone adhesives offer low volume resistivity, low outgassing and high temperature resistance.

Lucas-Milhaupt Silvaloy® 402 Brazing Alloy
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Precious Metal; Silver Alloy; Solder/Braze Alloy

Material Notes: Formerly Silvaloy® A40T. Silvaloy A40T is a good general purpose, low melting, cadmium-free alloy, often selected for its low temperature, wetting and good flow. Silvaloy A40T has a lower brazing temperature with a relatively narrower melting range than other cadmium-free classifications with similar silver content. This alloy is particularly useful for joining steel, copper, and copper alloys. It has been proven most suitable for torch brazing with manual feeding into a joint where heating may not be consistent. It is also suitable for replacing as a ring or punching. It does not liquidate excessively if heated through its melting range. Typical applications are the joining of ferrous, nonferrous and dissimilar metals and alloys with close joint clearances.
