Arkema OREVAC® 18345 RNP Pipe Coating Binder Resin

Material Notes: OREVAC 18345 RNP is a range of modified polyethylene which, when molten, have excellent adhesive properties to various substrates and are designed to bond dissimilar materials. It is supplied in black colored powder form.

The OREVAC 18345 RNP is designed for use in applications where both the adhesive performances and The mechanical and heat resistance properties of polyethylene can be exploited. These OREVAC are used as topcoat layer coatings (epoxy primer/polyethylene) for external pipe protection.

It is important that the polymer is bonded chemically with the epoxy primer, this operation should take place before the complete polymerization of epoxy. OREVAC 18345 RNP is specially designed for coating field joint applications.
