Ensinger PEI

Titanium Grade 11
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Titanium Alloy; Unalloyed/Modified Titanium

Material Notes: Same composition as Grade 7 except impurity limits. 0.2% Pd added for corrosion resistance, very effective for improving crevice corrosion at elevated temperatures and where in contact with mildly reducing or variable oxidizing-reducing media. Properties are very similar to Ti Grade 1 because the addition of small amount of Pd does not significantly change microstructure.

Applications: Chemical processing and storage - containers, heat exchangers, ducting, pumps, valves, fittings and auxiliary equipment.

Forms typically available: billet, bar, plate, sheet, strip, rod, wire, extrusions, tubing.

Titanium Grades 1,2,3,4,7,11,and 12 are all considered unalloyed and have similar mechanical properties.

Key Words: ASTM Grade 11; UNS R52250, CP titanium, C.P. titanium alloy
