GEHR Plastics ECOGEHR® PA 11 Nylon 11 Dry  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Renewable/Recycled Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 11 (PA11); Nylon 11, Unreinforced

Material Notes: Nylon 11 is made 100% from the components of castor oil, and is thus wholly bio-based. ECOGEHR® Nylon 11 possesses similar properties to Nylon 12, and an excellent status with respect to applications that require thermal, physical, chemical and mechanical material properties. Good cold impact strength (down to -40 °F), good chemical resistance and low water absorption (only 1/6 in comparison with Nylon 6) are characteristics of the material.
